Managing the iPhones and iPads you issue to staff
Issue devices, lock them when lost, recover them when staff leave and keep company data safe. ABMDM manages company devices, or devices with written consent.
How do I manage phones the company issues to staff?
Buy devices through the business channel and assign them in Apple Business. When staff switch the device on, it enrolls in ABMDM by itself and receives Wi-Fi, VPN, a required passcode and a list of hidden or blocked apps. If a device is lost, lock it remotely with a message and a contact number. When someone leaves, recover the device, get the iCloud unlock code and erase company data. ABMDM does not read messages, calls, photos or passwords. Price: 17,000 VND per device per month, excluding VAT, billed by the day.
The life of a company device

Issue
The device is assigned in Apple Business and enrolls by itself on first boot. The setup screen shows your business name and phone number.
- Step 2
Configure
Push Wi-Fi, VPN, certificates and a required passcode to the whole fleet. Hide or block apps that are not for work.
- Step 3
If it is lost
Lock it with a message and phone number. Lost mode can locate it and play a sound, and every location view is logged.
- Step 4
When staff leave
Recover the device, get the iCloud unlock code, erase company data and check that no organization screen remains before reissuing it.

Managing devices, not watching people
No personal content
ABMDM does not see messages, calls, email, photos, passwords or browsing history.
Location only when needed
Location is viewed only when a device is lost or a contract is overdue, and every view is logged.
Personal devices need consent
A staff member's own device does not become a company device. Enroll it only with clear written consent.
Cost for company devices
Retail is 17,000 VND per device per month, excluding VAT, deducted daily from a prepaid wallet, with a minimum of 30 days per device. Annual billing is 20% lower at 13,600 VND per device per month, which is 163,200 VND per device per year.

Questions about company phone management
Can the company read messages on staff iPhones?
No. Apple's management protocol does not allow reading messages, photos, email or passwords, and ABMDM cannot see them.
Must staff's own phones go into the MDM?
Not by default. Only with clear written consent. The link or QR code flow for personal devices is coming soon.
What if a leaver's phone asks for an iCloud password?
For company devices already in ABMDM, an authorized person gets the iCloud unlock code when recovering the device. Do not ask anyone to open a device tied to a stranger's account.
Can I install apps in bulk on company phones yet?
You can push Wi-Fi, VPN, certificates and a passcode. Buying app licences and silent install are coming soon. Hiding or blocking individual apps already works.
How much does it cost to manage one company device?
Retail is 17,000 VND per device per month, excluding VAT, billed by the day with a minimum of 30 days per device. Annual billing is 20% lower.
